People May Leave You and Condemn You, But Jesus Never Will

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

Friend, I know what it feels like to be left. I know what it feels like to have people point fingers, talk, and walk away. I know what it feels like when the very ones you thought would stay, are the first ones to condemn you.

But can I tell you what set me free 53 years ago?
Jesus doesn’t leave. And Jesus doesn’t condemn.

The world will tell you, "You’re too much."
Your past will tell you, "You’re not enough."
People may shut the door in your face.
But Jesus said in John 6:37: All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out. In no wise means never. Under no circumstances. Not ever.

When everyone else walked out, Jesus walked in.
When the voices of your enemies rose up to accuse you, He used the cross to defend you.

Romans 8:34: Who is He that condemneth? It is not Christ, that died, is risen again, and who is even now at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus" is a famous Bible verse found in Romans 8:1.

He is not standing far off with His arms crossed. He's not MAD at you. He is standing close with His arms wide open to receive and love you unconditionally, if one day you should you choose to accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Jesus urges us to come to him today. He said now is the day of salvation, not tomorrow, as we have no idea if we'll be here to boast that we have another day. That's an event we definitely don't want to miss.

People may remember your worst day.
Jesus remembers the cross.
People may bring up what you did.
Jesus brings up what He did for you.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He didn’t come to count your failures. He came to cover them.

His love is not based on who stayed and who left.
His love is not based on who clapped for you and who criticized you.
His love for you is not based on your performance. He already loves and accepts you, just as you are.
His love is not based on who accepted or approved of you.

Hebrews 13:8: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. That means the same Jesus who loved you on day one, is the same Jesus who loves you right now.

So if you’re feeling abandoned today, come to Him.
If you’re tired of being judged, come to Him.
If you’re weary of trying to prove yourself or win other's favor/approval, rest in Him.

People may have left you.
People may condemn you.
But Jesus never will.
He’s just a prayer away.
