If the Bible says that his name was to be "Immanuel" - at what point did he become "Jesus"???

@HootyTheNightOwl I'm not entirely sure how it works, but Jesus has multiple names. Immanuel is one of them. The name Jesus is by far the most commonly used, I think.

@Classified Yes, I find it a little confusing at times, too.
It could be that the people were welcoming him and naming him with the language of their culture... just like we have different languages today.
