Luke 24:6: "He is not here; He has risen!"

I came back just for this one special Resurrection Day post. Surely you didn't think that I would forget you on such a great important day, did you?

The original witnesses of Jesus' most astounding miracle... his disciples... finally saw and believed that Jesus was alive...then everything changed. Those once doubting men, were suddenly transformed into faith-filled passionate followers of Christ, receiving the Holy Spirit of promise...and a brand new life in Christ. You, too, can have that same confidence and transformation, by considering what Christ's resurrection means for you, as you ask and receive forgiveness, and use faith and redemption as a foundation for all you think, say, and do.

What better day to invite Jesus into your heart and life as Savior, than Resurrection Day...a day of new life and new beginnings? That's what I did 52 years ago and I have never been sorry. Only blessed and happy that I did. He'll do the same for you, if you will just ask him. Jesus is alive and active, not just in heaven, but also in our lives. His death was not the end; instead, it was the beginning of life as God intended, free from sin and its negative consequences.

Jesus' resurrection, guarantees that you will rise after death, if you follow him. We will receive new, glorified, healthy, perfect, and eternal bodies, and we will be reunited with our loved ones in Christ and see our Savior face to face.

How beautiful and marvelous is your love, Jesus. To think that you were willing to go through that for us! Yet, He would have done that even if you were the only person on earth. God's love conquers all, even death. Invest in your eternal future by living in the light of the resurrection and faithfully serving our risen Savior. Christ has risen indeed! I love you all, and Happy Resurrection Day. I'll see you in a few months. 🌹

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

And they remembered his words,

And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.
