Jesus took the guess-work OUT, of where we'll spend eternity. He's the best Life Insurance policy, one could ever have.

Wouldn't you like to be sure of where you'll spend eternity? God gave us His precious Word, so we wouldn't have to GUESS how to get to heaven. Yet, it's staggering how many still claim they don't know what will happen to them after they die. Unbelievable!.... when Jesus told us exactly what happens to us after we die....in His Word and by His own example, and how we can rest assured of heaven, IF we will just trust what He says and believe in His promises. God is perfect....incapable of lying or sinning. So what's not to believe?

God sent His Son to be the ONLY Meditator between God and man, for good reason. He point-blank told us, that HIS plan of salvation is the only one that can save us, IF we'll allow Him to do that.

It is appalling how many times God has heard people say:

"I swear there ain't no heaven
And I pray there ain't no hell."

That type thinking represents a grossly distorted view of what happens to our soul after we die, and is obviously void of any understanding at all, of just how horrible hell is, or they wouldn't say that.

Jesus says not to gamble with your own soul. He wants us to understand that salvation is not based off of the vain philosophies of man, but rather it's what Jesus stated in His Word, that counts. Miss that, and He said you have missed everything, including losing your own soul.

There IS hope out there. Jesus didn't leave us to guess about that. Unplanned death is a very scary thought and Jesus didn't want us to be afraid when we die. He said if you prepare right now, you'll know exactly where you're going, when you die, and He came to prove it by His own example. Jesus didn't say "maybe" you'll go to heaven. He told us we would definitely go to heaven, if we'll prepare our souls and allow Him to help us get there. That's the best life insurance you could ever have! And those who miss it, will do so because of their own stubbornness and unwillingness to believe God.

When we invite Jesus into our hearts and lives as Savior, He forgives our sins and this prepares us to be with Him in heaven for eternity. No guessing about it. Over 500 Witnesses saw Jesus's death and then after He rose from the dead, He stayed amongst them for days, to make sure they saw that He had risen from the dead, and then they all watched him ascend into heaven, to his Heavenly Father. His mission was to not only tell us how to get to heaven, but to show us, and when He was finished with that mission, , He ascended to heaven, witnessed by over 500 people, back to His Father in Heaven. But of course, if you don't want to believe that and take Jesus at His Word, then no, you're not going to go to heaven. That's what Jesus said, because we cannot walk into heaven with sin on our heels.

Jesus didn't come all the way from heaven, for a vacation. No. He paid heavily and painfully, for our sins on the cross, because He was the only one worthy enough to pay for our sins, since he is sinless, and whosoever believes in Him and accepts Him as their Savior, is guaranteed everlasting life, as well, if they will allow Him to wash away their sins by His love and grace.

There's really no excuse for anyone to miss heaven, unless they just refuse to believe God. We don't ever get to Heaven by our own efforts, but by taking God at His word and trusting in Him and His promise to save us from the condemnation that sin placed on us. God never breaks a promise! He turns no one away!
