I Believe In God, Jesus The Saviour And The Holy Spirit

Jesus Accepts Us Right Where We Are
We all want to be appreciated , loved and accepted for who we are.
Jesus is the One who will do this, accept us right where we are, with no hesitations, no qualifications, no judgement, only pure love. Is that not the most awesome thing you have ever been offered?
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever beliveth on Him shall be saved.
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 2:21 | NIV
KJV
Luke Chapter 10
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master how shall I be saved?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy mind, strength and heart
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shall be saved.
Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
1 Peter 3:21 - The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Romans 10:9 - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Acts 22:16 - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (Read More...)
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: (Read More...)
Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Galatians 3:27 - For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Jesus died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever. “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives! “Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).
Step 4 – Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?
We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. All you have to do is believe you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then turn from your sins—that’s called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you. What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty. We suggest praying the following prayer to accept Christ as your Savior:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Guide my life and help me to do your will. In your name, Amen.”

Sterling - That's kind of the point though. We speak to people to express our opinion. Is there not difference between people's beliefs out on the streets? Of course there is.

Grace - Jesus set an example for us, didn't he? He didn't tell us once to pray to him, every time someone praised Jesus, he directed them to Jehovah. Every time he speaks of whom to pray to, he speaks of how you should pray to God.

Here's a lot of examples for you.

Luke 11:1, 2
11 Now he was in a certain place praying, and when he stopped, one of his disciples said to him: “Lord, teach us how to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.”
2 So he said to them: “Whenever you pray, say: ‘Father, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come.

Matthew 26:41, 42
41 Keep on the watch and pray continually, so that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit, of course, is eager, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again, a second time, he went off and prayed: “My Father, if it is not possible for this to pass away unless I drink it, let your will take place.”

Matthew 6:6
6 But when you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. Then your Father who looks on in secret will repay you.

John 16:23
23 In that day you will ask me no question at all. Most truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything, he will give it to you in my name.

Luke 10:21
21 In that very hour he became overjoyed in the holy spirit and said: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have carefully hidden these things from wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to young children. Yes, O Father, because this is the way you approved.

John 11:41
41 So they took the stone away. Then Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.

Luke 23:46
46 And Jesus called out with a loud voice and said: “Father, into your hands I entrust my spirit.” After he said this, he expired.

By simply thinking that you should pray to Jesus because he was a great man, you're doing the wrong thing. You're assuming things with no basis and that is a dangerous thing to do. Wouldn't God be angry if you prayed to a false God? If you prayed to a man? To the devil even? Then how is it that he would ever accept that you pray to an angel instead of him? All prayers are reserved for the almighty God.
