And he will probably be wrong. We don't know the day or the hour.

@BritishFailedAesthetic Jesus is here and reigning now. We shouldn't expect anything more.
@hippyjoe1955 Yes and He will come again in a physical appearence.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic NOPE!!!! He is here now. Get to work building His Kingdom as He gives you the Grace.
@hippyjoe1955 I am and He must appear again to judge the living and the dead. What on earth do you believe then?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic We will all stand before Him up on our physical deaths where we will be judged.
@hippyjoe1955 Yes. But there is a point when the world in it's present state will cease.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic Absolutely. This present existence is only temporary. I like to think of it as being a boarding school. We hare here for a term and then taken home. Will the school stand forever? It will stand only as long as the School Master says it will stand.
@hippyjoe1955 Right so it ends with the second coming.

@BritishFailedAesthetic No it ends with the earth being burned up. 2 Peter 3:10
@hippyjoe1955 And what event comes before that?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@BritishFailedAesthetic Life continues as normal. There is no need for any kind of rescue mission by Jesus. He is here, reigning and the world is unfolding as He would have it to be. Paul describes the end which many loons interpret as being the rapture. No rapture. No return of Jesus. The end happens and those who are in Christ are taken to be with Jesus and those who are not in Jesus are sent to the other place.
