Grace and Forgiveness That Reached Beyond My Sins
I’m not going to sit here and tell you I’m perfect. If I said I’m not a sinner, I’d be lying to you.
I’ve messed up. I’ve carried shame. I’ve felt that heaviness in my chest that whispers "you’re ruined and God could never use you."
But I’m here to tell you about a Jesus who doesn’t just forgive — He heals.
There have been times I sinned and I had to get on my knees and repent and rededicate my life to the Lord. And you know what? That wasn’t the end of my story. I'm so thankful for that! If God can save me, he can save anybody. And I mean that sincerely. Of course, we all feel like we're the worst sinner of all, but God doesn't actually categorize sin. What I mean by that is that sin is sin, no matter how you look at it, and all sin keeps us separated from God and salvation... until we repent. That's where are hope comes from. That's the GOOD NEWS! We don't have to stay in that condition. Why?
Because Jesus already paid for our sins on the cross. And whosoever wishes to have forgiveness and is willing to confess their sins so God can clean up their life and give them heaven, whosoever that is, is welcome to come to him without any guilt or condemnation. He just wants us to come to him as we are, and honestly. He'll never turn you away. That's his promise to us. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world; He came to do just the opposite, save it!
John 3:16 — For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:17 — For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
That second verse right there is what keeps me going. He didn’t come to condemn me. He came to save me. Same for everyone alive.
God knows us better than we know ourselves, and yet He still loves us purely. More than words could ever say.
The enemy piles shame on, to crush you. Jesus lifts it off, to heal you.
What the devil meant for shame, God turned into my remedy. He took my hurt and used it to bring healing to other people. He took my testimony and used it to bring hope.
So if you’re reading this and you feel too far gone, hear me: You’re not.
You’re forgiven. Get up. Run to Jesus.
Because forgiveness doesn’t stop at your sins. It reaches beyond them. It reaches into your future, your family, and the people God is calling you to help.
He’s better than anything in the whole universe or any other person. And He’s waiting for you right now. Condemnation is not from, nor OF, God. SALVATION IS.
