Nothing Is Too Hard for God - Hope and Help Comes Through Him

"No eye has seen, nor ear has heard, nor the heart of man imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Corinthians 2:9

It is wonderful what miracles God works in lives that are utterly surrendered to Him. Big miracles. Little miracles. In-between ones, too. I’m praying for yours.

I’m praying He will open the doors to a new place for you where you will be happy. True happiness in life comes from knowing, loving, and following Jesus, rather than chasing the temporary things of this world. Real joy starts when you spend time with the Lord and build a close friendship with Him through prayer and His Word. It comes from caring for the people around you and treating them with kindness, which brings a deep and lasting smile to your heart and life.

Putting God first in my daily choices has given my life clear meaning and true peace. Trusting God and following His path instead of my own selfish desires, frees me from endless worry. I have loved and served the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior for the last 53 years. I share this point because I want you to know that I’ve never been sorry even one day for that decision to follow Him. If I could do it all over again, I would not hesitate at all.

Loving the Lord doesn’t mean I treat Him like a "genie in the sky" who gives me my every desire at the drop of a hat. It doesn’t mean I get my way every day. Sometimes we ask for things selfishly and not in our own best interest. Loving the Lord means I want His will to be done in my life, not just my every selfish want. He gives me all my needs. That's the big difference.

I love it now, when He tells me "not now". I know He’s protecting me from something I cannot see in the future, or from something that may have happened to harm me that day. I have found that to be true many times. And I know full well that He always has my best interest at heart and wants only to love and protect me, so I always trust His will for myself. I don’t ever like to get ahead of Him, because I botch things up as soon as I do. I'm real good at that. haha

Loving God means I trust Him no matter the circumstances, and know that He does keep His promises, just as He said He would in His Word. I’m just as excited about Him now, as I was on July 21, 1973, when I invited Him into my heart and life as my Savior. That moment is just as fresh in my mind and heart, as if it happened yesterday.

Happiness is not found by chasing fleeting worldly pleasures, riches, or fame, but as a byproduct of aligning our life and heart with God’s.

Happiness vs. Joy
Happiness is a temporary emotion tied to external events, possessions, or people, and it can change when your situation changes. Joy is an enduring spiritual gift rooted in your relationship with Jesus Christ, remaining steady through every trial.

Keys to a Happy and Content Life
I tried finding happiness my way for many years and it only made things worse. Happiness is not found. It is created by wise choices. The secret to security and well-being is to seek God’s kingdom first, trusting Him to supply your daily needs without anxious worry for tomorrow. How can we do that? Happiness and peace naturally fall into place when we walk in alignment with His will. Who knows us better than God, and what is best for our lives? He alone. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He is completely trustworthy of our love and Trust. He is dependable. He will never abandon us.

Just like when you love someone with all your heart, you want their whole love, not half...right? Total commitment. Jesus’ love is no different... pure and perfect. After years of misery, I finally found that the key to happiness is total commitment to my Lord. And that is not a chore. It is an honor and privilege. It is freedom, not chains. The one who loves God, is free indeed.

I searched and found the Answer. It is Jesus Christ. No matter what we need, I found that Jesus Himself is the answer and missing piece to the puzzle of life. His Holy Spirit transformed me, when I accepted Him as my Lord and Savior, just as the Bible said He would. I didn’t have to "clean up my life" before I came to Him. He already loved and accepted me, just as He does you.

The key to salvation is total commitment. That’s what many are missing, but don’t realize it. There is no help in any other place. God does not want half our heart, any more than we want half of His. He proved His love to us on the cross. He gave the ultimate. There was nothing more that He could have poured out to us than His very own life, and He gave it freely and willingly, even knowing that some would reject Him. That is pure love. You won’t find that kind of love on this earth, anywhere. It’s not selfish. He gave His all, and I cannot give Him less, after all He has done for me and suffered for me on the cross.

I learned that choosing to count my blessings instead of focusing on my burdens, shifted my perspective from complaining to appreciation. I look around me. Even though I am not rich, I see that I lack nothing really. What more could I want than Jesus? Nothing fulfills my heart and spirit, like He does.

I’m so grateful that I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and that I’m warm and comfortable. I’m blessed to have every single thing I have. Jesus didn’t even have the comforts we have today. There were no refrigerators to keep fish fresh. Life was truly hard back then. No indoor plumbing, no modern toilets, no microwaves, no air conditioning.

Their water was so bad they mostly drank wine. There was no decent sanitation. I would have had a fit trying to fight off the flies and mosquitoes. Their food wasn’t automatically available every morning. They worked so hard for every single thing they had. They had to hunt if they wanted even one meal that day. They worked super hard from the time they got up, until the time they went to bed. Very long hours.

Love One Another: Serve Others
True fulfillment comes when we stop focusing solely on our own needs and instead, reach out to love, comfort, and help people who are hurting around you.

Nothing is too hard for God.
He is still working today, and He is still faithful. Keep your eyes on Him, and your heart surrendered to Him. He will do more for you than we can ask or ever imagine.
