Now I'm REALLY excited! NEVER SAY NEVER!!! - "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!" Phil. 4:13

Oh, I may get down once in awhile, as that devil tries to make us all do, but that's not the end of my story. I'm a survivor. Here's a picture of my new chair I'm supposed to get Monday!

No matter what the circumstances we find ourselves in, in this world, we can always draw on, and have that hope and strength in Jesus, no matter what! And I'm living proof of that at my age. So never give up and never say never. God gave us more resilience than you can ever imagine and he has given me throughout the years, a strength and peace that passes all understanding, and like Paul when he was in prison, nothing can override nor take that Joy and Peace away, that is only accessible through Christ Jesus, out sweet heavenly Mediator and Hope in this world.

This will really help me get around a little bit better and do more things outside and visit more people haha. But I gotta tell you.... right now I'm sort of in between needing my walker and a wheelchair, but that's not the end for me!! I can realistically say (and I am...) I do my tai chi and other exercises every day, I've started on, and I may not need that chair later.

If I do... fine, if I can get stronger, better yet!...and that's what I'm working on. 😃🥳 I have never been one to give up. I don't know the word "can't". That's not in my vocabulary. The word try is who I am and what I'm about. So I'm doing my exercises everyday, and next spring I plan on getting my knee replacements, and I'm looking very forward to that (at 80, by the way 😂🤭. I just want to lose more weight before I do and that will definitely make my operations easier, but I know through every single part of this journey, God will definitely give me the strength to get through it all, as my Jesus always does, and has, praise God!!!

I ALWAYS SAY...

YOU CAN DO IT!!! YES!!!

DonnieDarko, you out there? Come on.

I've got three grown men at oh-dark-thirty on my tail. I think they're trying to coax me into a rendezvous at the Yak Shack.

Can you cover me? I'm cleanin' coffee off my jacket.

Ladygrace why aren't you Catholic

@LadyGrace What denomination are you? or are you non denominational
@IsawDDevil That's a wonderful question. And thank you for asking it. I don't think God looks at denomination. He looks at our heart and what comes forth from it. God knows our heart better than anyone. For me, it's not about denomination or religion. Jesus didn't die on the cross for religions. He died to save sinners around the world. That means everyone, you and I and everyone.

There's nothing about religion or what church we go to, that will ever decide nor determine where we'll spend eternity. Religion is described as man-made philosophy. It did not and cannot take our sins away, no matter what church we are affiliated with. Religion did not die on the cross for my sins; the person of Jesus did. He gets all the credit for saving Souls, not a certain Church or denomination.

John 3:16 has never asked us to believe in a certain religion in order to get to heaven. And you know some people don't even go to church, so that also means that our Salvation is not based on outer works or other religions. The only thing God is concerned about, is where is our heart, when it comes to him?

Notice that Jesus says in His Word, that no matter who we are in this world, that He loves everyone.... not just some. He is not willing that any should perish. But have everlasting life in heaven and how do we do that? He made sure he answered that in John 3:16. He didn't want us guessing it something as important as where our soul spends eternity. Jesus said in his word, I write these things so that you will know how to have eternal life. He did not want us guessing.

And he told us something very important when it comes to Salvation. In John 3:16 he said everyone is welcome to come to him, not just some. He said whosoever comes to me, I will never cast out! I will never turn you away. That means anyone can come to him to be saved. He gave his promise that whosoever will come to him and ask him for forgiveness of their sins and invite him into their hearts and lives as their personal Savior, will definitely receive forgiveness and eternal life in heaven. I say definitely because God always keeps his promises. He even went a step further. He said that when he forgives our sins, they are forgiven and remembered no more. Their sins cannot bring them condemnation anymore! That's important. That's crucial to know. The very second we say "I will" to Jesus, and accept him as our Savior, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise for eternity! No one can break that seal. It is a covenant seal between the believer and Jesus. The Holy Spirit, Himself, is God's seal on us as redeemed believers in Christ.

@IsawDDevil That being said, the church I attend is Southern Baptist for one reason only. Jesus told us not to forsake ourselves to assemble together in church and hear his word, so we can grow in his word, because he speaks to us through ministers, not only the Bible and prayer. The Holy Spirit speaks to him and we receive it in our hearts and spirits. So the reason I attend Baptist Church is because in my humble opinion, they follow the Bible closer than any other denomination I've attended, and I do love going to church and worshiping, and my spirit needing and being fed spiritual food. That's very important to me.

You go girl. Resilience is truly needed when a disability is in the mix. I'm glad He always comes through for you and congratulations on your new chair. Hopefully it's short term after your surgeries, but you have the right attitude if not. 💖✨
@moonlightlullaby I thank you kindly, lady! ♥
