Cringe Uncle

Have an uncle who has called me a name that is not mine. He is threatening me when I prayed for him to find Jesus. He does not have God’s live in him because he doesn’t know God Almighty. I have a burden on my heart to share my faith with him but last time I tried to it backfired because I didn’t tell him anything meaningful about the gospel. Instead I prayed with another family member in front of him to find Jesus. He said in a frightening tone, You need to stop doing that. Just stop it. To my horror he looked like he had satan living in him because of his dim eyes. He is created in the imagine of God just like I am, I know he has a right to hear the gospel before he perishes. I would like to hear your advice on sharing my faith with him. Thanks!

If you believe God is a God of fear and torment then why do you worship him? If you do actually believe the bible did you miss the part where it says God is love.

"So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him."

It then describes what love is:

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a ringing gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have absolute faith so as to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and exult in the surrender of my body, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs. Love takes no pleasure in evil, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways. Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love."

These two verses are then reinforced by:

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love."

You are living in fear, not love because you fear a punishment from God either for yourself, your uncle or both. That is not being made perfect in love. Thus it is not perfect in God. So stop worrying about you uncle. Unless he is some kind of rapist or murderer then Jesus already paid his price. Jesus still paid his price even if he is those as well. If you actually believe in Jesus, then universalism is the only logical conclusion. You cant have Jesus either only saving people he was already going to save (e.g. Calvinistic unconditional election) or Jesus just outright failing his job. And since Jesus already payed for the sins of the word your uncle does not need to be saved from anything. So please stop harassing him. Just be good people. God is big enough to run everything and can take care of everything.
