[c=#7700B2]i don't know if it's just me but this makes no sense what so ever. A slave by definition has no freedom what so ever..
And a slave to religion really has no free will and is just following rules... Just my opinion though [/c]

I understand your confusion. It's kind of paradoxical. :) But, because I submit myself completely to my Lord, and because I offer to Him the conformity of my will to His Will, I become a slave to Him. Yet, by doing this, I am freed from sin and eternal death.
