I Love You Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ I Love You Yes I Do

You love a dead person? That's sad

You have no proof he is dead.
It would be wise on your part to understand a fear of the Living God.

@SomeLikeItHot What proof is there that any of those crucified are dead? There's certainly no proof Jesus is alive. There's no proof your god has ever existed, never mind actually being alive now.
Are you here again?
They found no body.
You can stew over that.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot As I said, there's no proof he's alive. If there were no body, what did they take down from the tree? (The bible says "tree" not "cross".) What was put in the grave?

I've nothing to stew over, perhaps you have.
@suzie1960
You have shared your issues with the church before...sad

He arose from the grave after 3 days.

Even the Romans couldn't contain the Ressurection.

He walked the earth for 40 days.

Haven't you done your homework when you argue subjects like this.
It is all in the New Testament.

So? That doesn't prove anything. There's no independent verification. You forget, I have read the bible.

Do you believe Harry Potter is a real wizard? You must do, it's all there in the Harry Potter books after all.
@suzie1960
My point is that you left a lot out of the story of redemption.
Your duplicitousness doesn't surprise me.
Try again dear.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot The point is, a story is just a story. You can believe in fairy stories is you want but I've grown out of it.

Being patronizing doesn't strengthen your case, if anything it weakens it.
@suzie1960
The point is that you gave only part of the story to make a very weak point.
I'm sure you have Father issues.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot Now you're projecting. I had a very good relationship with my father, right up until his death.

The bible story is just a story, it proves nothing no matter how much of it is quoted.
@suzie1960
I'll believe you then.
You don't even know the real story.
I have no idea why you pretend to know.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot What do you mean by "the real story"? I know what the bible says but I've no reason to believe it's true. It's funny how so many christians are ignorant of what the bible says. It's like they've never read it.
@suzie1960
It can be surprising on how Bible "experts" that don't have Faith in our Living God know just a pittance of what they think they know..
When I say the real story; I mean the complete story and not leave out salient parts.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot There are no salient parts to biblical stories. It's all a work of fiction so there isn't a real story there. There is no "living god" either, no matter how much you wish there were. Some of us have actually read the bible so know a lot more about it than those who just go by blind faith.
@suzie1960
You haven't established any knowledge of the Bible and yes you intentionally left many parts of the Ressurection to serve your purpose.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot I could quote the whole thing verbatim and you still wouldn't accept I've read it because that wouldn't suit your purpose. Anyone, even you, could read it for themselves but that wouldn't prove anything anyway because there is no independent verification.
@suzie1960
You can read the Bible and still not "get it". It requires two things that you lack.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot I have read the bible and I do "get it". The only thing I lack is blind faith. I base my views on hard evidence, not a collection of fairy stories.
@suzie1960
You will not meet the Living God unless you receive what you lack.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@SomeLikeItHot You really don't get it do you? Of course I'll never meet it, it doesn't exist in reality! It's just a figment of your imagination. I worked that out a long time ago, that's why I'm no longer a christian.
