I Love the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

So many love that Jesus is their Savior, and rightly so. He has put us right with God through his atoning sacrifice in taking all our sin upon himself. But how many consider what it means for Jesus to be their Lord? Lord is not a common everyday term today as it was centuries ago. Lord means master, and not just in some cerebral way, but a master essentially holds your life in his hands. You owe him total allegiance; his word, his orders are what you are comitted to following. That's what a lord was. So, is Jesus REALLY your Lord, are you committed to doing what he says, or in your heart and mind, is he just a savior? None of us is capable of following Him perfectly, but...
