The oddest thing is Asia, North America, Africa have ancient stories of an angry God who destroyed mankind was saved a few. Any evidence or anything that may be looked at as evidence is dismissed.

The whole world means people, wherever people were. 6 to 10,000 years ago when the flood took place there were anywhere from 1 to 10 million people on the entire Earth. So the best estimation would be fine million! People were not spread out over all the lands. God flooded where people were.
