The boat was just a corral. There was no water flood. Noah took precautions to ensure that his group had food. He was not like people are today who wait until the last second to get supplies although they know days beforehand that there will be a heavy snowfall, hurricane, or other disaster. And, when the war was over, Noah had a big feast and got falling down drunk.
So your telling me Noah had all that room for all those animals on his boat?

In ancient times anyone could be called "God." The Gods in the Old Testament were simply the series of emperors and kings of the dominant empire. That's why some versions were crazier than others. The biblical God croaked around 530 BC when the last emperor of the Babylonian empire died and the empire collapsed. Paul tried to resurrect him with his Jesus character. He didn't get very much dialogue like in the Old Testament.
