I Love God He Is My Strength

behold beyond the wide mountain pass before my eyes and through my hands I grasp the true love of God for me

though rocked with storms and gloomy skies this life has for me beyond the storms of gray offers a rainbow of the deepest colors that can ever be

for if life in the Lord offers me a place of refuge to feel his unfailing love why to consider alternatives to said life that will and can never compare to that which I see

for promises the darkness makes even shrouding itself in light with disguises of troubling fright I cannot be enticed to walk that quaking path of darkness again

In God I find the true light a place that is good all of the time and faithful in his word to me so walk I do clothed in the armor of his mighty word sword always ready to defeat the deafening herd of darkness deep and oh so strong

for a Christian I am and will always be I stand in the light so let the blood of Jesus forever wash over me saving and protecting defending and correcting

God is good all of the time and all of the time God is good for all times past present and what is yet to come
