That's something I never did in my relationships when I was younger. After a couple of marriages and reading about relationships and seeing countless hours of tv shows I started to gain a new perspective. The most important thing I learned is that you can't force a person to love you. It can be very tough starting over but sometimes that is the best thing that can happen, not only for you but also for everyone else. I met by third wife by accident and we immediately hit it off and went on the enjoy a 39 year marriage before she died. We never spoke an angry word to each other. Several wonderful people were born as a result of our marriage, not to us, but to our kids from our previous relationships. So, if we had stayed in our previous relationships none of that would have happened. It all worked out for the best.
