I Don't Believe In God

[c=#003BB2]been watching and reading a lot on the bible lately (I'm not religious one bit) just wanted to see what all the hype is about..

gotta say this but how can anyone who is full religious actually think god loves them? serious question, not trying to start any arguments but seriously think about it..

Lucifer was his favourite angel. he spent the most time perfecting him and the moment Lucifer disagreed with him, God wrote him off..

1/3rd of the angels followed Lucifer and left God. I mean how much of a douche must god be if his own creations who love and worship him, abandon him for another angel? it would make sense if none of them followed Lucifer and stayed with god yet that apparently did not happen..

So anyway god most favourite creation disagrees with him and writes him off and yet people still think god will accept you all as you are.. come on it does not make sense...

I don't wanna argue or anything just giving my opinion lol but I believe that god gave us free will. We decided to see evil and that meant we had to live in it. (When eve ate the apple)
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]couldn't stay away. I needed to ramble on about my random thoughts :D[/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]I'm sure we could easily go back and forth on what we think might have happened but nobody can know for sure. its great we all have our own theories and beliefs though[/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]no offense taken. but just remember how far back Einstein was making quotes like that, a long long time ago.. a lot has been scientifically discovered since. I somewhat believe in evolution. I don't claim to know actual facts on how planets and life werecreated because in fact no one can really know. it just seems very very very far fetched to me that one thing was just there out of thin air (god) and had the power to create everything[/c]
mic11225 · 26-30, M
Im not religious either but my assumption was that people believed god loved them because god sacrificed jesus for them in order to fogive the sins of man....you know as opposed to doing the rational thing of just forgiving them without forcefully impregnating a teenage girl and torturing and killing their child.
mic11225 · 26-30, M
intelligent design disproves the idea of that god more than proves it because it creates an infinite loop of intelligent creators or it contradicts it's own logic. Ok can we stop I can't shut up when this topic comes up xD. Too much time thinking about it xD.
Lucifer · 36-40, M
It's all lies, I swear.
Itsprincess · 22-25, F
@plumberries i understand that it sounds like punishment but it's really not. We weren't forced to make a choice like I said, and our natural instincts were our own. Satan is the one who made the world evil so I don't understand lol @mic11225 adultery has the risk of hurting people's feelings, and it's still the persons heart that is being looked at. If a person is forced into it, of course they won't be held accountable. Animals are very different to humans with different purposes and no emotional feelings. Yeah I agree it's not black and white. Because he gives us free will. He wants us to live that way to protect us, but if we want to go against that then it's our choice. Like with all of this, just my opinion
I think the universe is its own god. It created itself and everything in it. Although everything in the universe actually is the universe. I dunno, I get dizzy thinking about it but, hello fellow universe people 👋🙃
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]I don't know what is harder to believe in, that planets were created out of thin air or a god created it all.. that would make god created out of no where. doesn't make sense to me.. but each to their own beliefs...

my grandad used to get so annoyed at me for talking about religion like this and constantly asking me what am I going to do after I die and burn because I didn't live my life to god? well if so I can live with that because I lived my life making my own life choices.
What will the religious people do when they die and realise that they wasted their one and only life for nothing but a story? (yes I know they wouldn't know because they are just nothing but you get the point). [/c]
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@Itsprincess and following those rules hurt people's feelings in so many ways. And you say adultery is wrong because it hurts people feelings but what if it didn't or what a person was forced into a relationship they didn't or don't want. Also animals commit adultery, do they go to hell as well? What about cells and bacteria, are they subject to the punishments of sin or the pleasures of following god? Life is not so black and white. And if they were a guide on how to live, implying that's how he wants you to live why bother to give you the choice to defy him in the first place?
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@PlumBerries if you are just looking for contradictions or reasons why it seems unreasonable for people to want to worship god I could write you a 10 page essay on that shit 😂.
Maybe lucifer was just really REALLY charismatic..like a young Marlon Brando. Gods probably quite lame. All work and no banter type of fella.
Azuriela · 46-50, F
@kind I think that was the most profound analogy I have ever heard about Christianity. Just wow.

@plum his response exactly
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@Itsprincess If it is real we definitely are forced with the choice of serving god or going to hell there's no way around that. Hmm and who created Satan? What all powerful creature allows evil to exist and allows people to suffer while having the ability to effortless save them but still claims to be devoid of that very evil, and who has broken all the rules it has created? Is it though? From my understanding the rules are very clear, god does not make exceptions. Animals do have emotions. When the bible was written people probably didn't know that though. If all of what you believe is real then giving us free will is doing the opposite of protecting us. It is putting us in a situation where we have to the renounce the very free will we have been given or suffer forever, and frankly if all of this were really real and we went to heaven it would still be torture because you would know people you love are suffering forever. This is my opinion. Either god is real and unworthy of worship or he isn't real and people have been deceived for centuries. Personally I favor the later as the realistic conclusion.
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@PlumBerries it's all very outlandish and honestly I wouldn't give a damn about any of it if it weren't for the fact of it's rules, and cultural pressure. If the rules and beliefs were just something that people kept to themself and if those rules and beliefs only affected themself then I wouldn't care, but it's not like that unfortunately. You know recently I discovered that my brother used to have nightmares about going to hell as a child, and that is abhorrent to me.

Think of it this way. Imagine God as a crazy cat lady. She might dis her fellow humans but those cats can do no wrong.

Maybe we are just pets.

You could read all the books and find that a lot of it shows God really isn't all that loving at all. When I used to go to church, all I'd hear is how we just can't fathom it and how God's love is unconditional. But if you don't choose to love and serve him, you go to hell to be tortured eternally. Sounds sick. Especially when they say God still loves those souls.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]@mic I used to have same nightmares as a kid. thank god I grew up having to question everything lol

@itsprincess, the whole adam and eve story sounds like a punishment. god gave them paradise and took it all away because one of them acted out on her god given natural instincts.. if its a choice between god and satan, I will choose satan. he actually sounds like the better pick[/c]
Azuriela · 46-50, F
@Lucifer Thanks for the eyewitness opinion 😈
Azuriela · 46-50, F
PLUM!!!! YOURE BACK!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]wow Lucifer has joined in on this convo. very flattering, love you in supernatural btw 😍

@itsprincess, I'm just not really getting it I guess. how can anything be our own really if god created us this way? that would be all him.. we have natural instincts and its natural to act on that. [/c]
Mahjack · 31-35, M
Plum. No offense, just saying this in general, so dont be offended! :P But if planets were created out of thin air and we were created because they banged each other, that means that they're our parents, their volcanos could be their blood and the moon tail could be the penis, wow small penis. The mountain could be tits? 🤔
I mean, Einstein once said

"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

How are we created, how everything is so different, how your body is so organized and how it works. There is god, chrisitanity is not the only religion out there. Even though Im not that religious, but I know that being one isn't waste of time unless you're following the wrong one. However, some people think they have to live so happy to believe in god.

@plum

I think the point is... You can't understand this. The stories will never make complete sense because they are not the whole truth.

Even if we had everyone with a cell phone recording the second coming of Jesus... The story told would not be the whole story.
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@Itsprincess thats a pretty reasonable conclusion. I definitely respect that. Evil is a part of free will. There are things I could say to argue that point depending on how you define god but since you don't want to argue I will keep that to myself.
Itsprincess · 22-25, F
@plumberries I don't know, it doesn't really make sense to me that part. But I guess without all the knowledge in the world I won't understand. But too many things have proved to me that God exists.
Sebastian · 22-25, M
The Bible says, "he created them male and female" only two genders my friend. God has given us "freedom of will" the ability to choose good or bad. By choosing to be "God" himself Lucifer lost his place in heaven and had to be cast out. Why did 1/3 of the angels follow him? they were told lies, and before this moment they had never heard a lie before so they fell for it. If God was evil and all that then He would have annihilated Lucifer and threaten to do the same to all the other angels who didn't want to worship Him. But He didn't, cause they had "freedom of will" since they chose Lucifer to be their leader they had to leave Gods realm of government. @PlumBerries
Itsprincess · 22-25, F
@plumberries I don't think its punishment. It's just inevitable, because we choose whether we want to live for God and his kingdom or if we want to be with the devil and the devil wants to torrure us
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]maybe Lucifer is the actual intelligent one and stood up against gods sadistic shit. apparently god made lucifer to perfection, yet he disagreed with god. that should be saying something there[/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]ok another example. god created man in his own image, so that includes homosexuals, transgenders and well everyone. yet we are expected to believe that he is against what he himself created in his own image none the less?[/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]@itsprincess, in a way I cant truly argue if there is a gor or isn't a god. in the end its all just a matter of beliefs and I respect others beliefs[/c]
Mahjack · 31-35, M
Im sure that planets and everything else were not created out of no where, so there is god. Im not that relgious either.

And wb!
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]@itsprincess, so basically god gave us free will and yet punished us for acting on that? [/c]
geekoo · 41-45, M
Maybe you should read all holy books before deciding. (just an advice)
Itsprincess · 22-25, F
@mic I think the rules were given as a guide, because the actions have consequences. For example, adultery is wrong, and it's advised not to do it because it will hurt people's feelings.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]@mic, I'm just trying to understand it myself. it bothers me that people just buy into it all so easy and yet I'm having a hard time making any rational sense of it lol[/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]Kindheartedguy, if that crazy cat lady gave birth to those cats and ditched them because one scratched her once, I would think of it the same way[/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#003BB2]maybe but I think I read enough to determine my own beliefs. I know those books are not for me..
[/c]
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@PlumBerries This video pretty much sums up what I believe on that subject.
mic11225 · 26-30, M
@Itsprincess I don't see how that's not a punishment.
Uh...somebody define god 🙄
