Have you ever thought that God might be an alien?

Isn’t that what an alien would do? Talk to us telepathically make us write books about them and pass themselves as a God.

The desire from some people to interpret God as being an Alien comes from a desire to not have someone out there who is so far superior to us that we can never equal them in wisdom power and knowledge..

An Alien, who is very much more advanced in tech then us is still a flesh being like us and therefore a level that we can achieve with time and effort..

A God who is Perfect and beyond our ability to equal no matter how much time and effort we exert causes them to be offended.. Many people want to be the No 1 Being in their existence.. They cannot accept taking second place permanently..

That's why the Bible states:

(Proverbs 16:18) "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."

The Proud cannot accept second place..

@Ferise1 (1 Corinthians 1:18) "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."

And a supreme being is going to judge us? Seriously.??? Would you judge ants?

There you go again.. Humanizing God.. God is not a man Ferise..

And God is love, but knowing about him would create terror? How does that work?

As i said if you hated Gods will but came to know God is real, you would still hate Gods will.. And from that moment on you would be existing under a virtual dictator you hate and you would know you would have to exist under the rule of that dictator for ever and ever for Eternity.. Now that would probably put you into a very dark place.. Knowing that you faced judgement with eternal consequences for rejecting the Will of God..

Actually i also find it unbelievable that people think there is no God.. I think it is insanity to believe nothing created everything out of nothing.. All i have to do is look around earth and this universe to see we have an intelligent Creator.. It's as obvious as my own right hand tapping on this keyboard right now..

@Adstar yes God is not human. His infinitely superior to us. I make the comparison with ants. We are like ants to God.
You’re not really addressing what I’m saying. You’re just laying God‘s wrath on me. There’s no reasoning with you.
So you’re saying people from other religions are going to hell? Just because they were born in the wrong religion?
And atheists because they were educated. It’s not their fault.(our fault.)
And God sent his only son to earth so that he could be killed to save us from ourselves? How the f*ck does that make any sense?
“Kill my son so I can forgive you”. Do you hear yourself?

@Ferise1 As part of being a Christian sharing the will of God i MUST also include a warning of Gods Wrath... It's not MY wrath.. I do not condemn.. I do not judge.. I warn of His judgement..

I also include as part of my Christian sharing the GOOD NEWS ( Gos- Spel ) that God came in the flesh in the form of the LORD Jesus and willingly suffered death to pay the penalty for the transgressions of ANYONE who believes Jesus and trusts in the Atonement Jesus secured on that cross.. So my message is that all sins are forgiven and eternal life in a perfect body, in a perfect state of being. will be given to anyone. and all it takes is simply believing Jesus and trusting Jesus. That the greatest thing God can give us is FREE... His yoke is lite..

It's about the total message which includes all things rather then focusing on one thing. ( which many messengers seem to do)

So you’re saying people from other religions are going to hell? Just because they were born in the wrong religion?

Where did i say that??? Nowhere in this discussion.. But maybe this is one of those things you think is evil?? Maybe it is a teaching that offends you??

In any case i believe the people who will not be entering eternity in Gods perfect eternal existence will be the ones who REJECT they Way God has made for them to enter into eternity with Him... That is people who reject the Gospel... So if someone does not hear the Gospel in this life then they may well get an opportunity later.. The following scripture indicates this to me..

(1 Peter 3:18-20) "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: {19} By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; {20} Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."

Yes Jesus went to Hell to preach to the people that where in Hell.. Why? maybe to give them the opportunity to accept the Gospel message that would save them..

And God sent his only son to earth so that he could be killed to save us from ourselves? How the f*ck does that make any sense?

Ok let me use an analogy...

Lets say we are in a human court in a nation that has truth in justice legislation where every transgression is linked to a fixed penalty so as to prevent corrupt favoritism or racism effecting the sentences leveled at offenders...

Lets say a Judge is judging a case where two young men stole a car and took it joyriding and at the end burnt the car.. Now lets say the penalty for this crime is 50,000 dollars or 3 years in prison.. Now the first young man is a SOB he speaks contentiously at the judge and is proud of his crime, turning around to the car owner in the court and calling him a fool for not securing his car properly and that he deserved to have his car burnt..

What do you think the judge will do to that guy? yeah he adjudicates a 50,000 dollar fine. They young man cannot pay it so he automatically is sent to prison for a 3 year sentence..

So now the second young man comes forward and lowers his head in shame and acknowledges to the court he did wrong and turns to the owner of the car and in tears says sorry for what he did.. Now what can the judge do? remember if the judge does not adjudicate a 50,000 dollar fine then he will be deemed a corrupt judge and he will be stripped of his position and will probably face corruption charges.. So the Judge bound by justice delivers a judgement of a 50,000 dollar fine.. But the judge has mercy and wants to help the second young man, so he gets up out of his seat and comes down to the second young man and offers him a 50,000 dollar check. So that the young man can pay his fine and avoid prison..

Now if the young man as brains be will great joy and gratitude take the gift the Judge is offering.. Pay the fine and walk free from that court.. And no one can say that justice was not done.. The penalty was put on the offender and the penalty was duly Paid in full.. The Judge is able to do with his money what ever he wills to do with it.. So justice was done..

Of course in the above Analogy the Judge is God. Remember Jesus and the Father are One. And the two young men are human beings with sin like every other sinner on earth.. One was a willfull sinner proud of what he did. The other was a repentant sinner who was meek towards the court..

(Isaiah 57:15) "For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."
