I Am Christian

I am a cultural mainline Christian, not a biblical Christian. I figured that biblical Christianity and atheistic materialistic rationalism are just 2 different ways to teach the same: Shut up, adapt to things how they are, be useful, be modest, give up your dreams (and idols which represent your dreams), but think positive.

It's the same cult with the same objective: Mind control and destruction of sound cultural identity to make people mentally houseless and therefore individually vulnerable for any arbitrariness of authority. Both ways are destructive, and therefore thee same wrong.

Reminds me the time I changed churches. And they wanted to know my history of 'STUDY' I couldn't even be 'ME' till I was baptized.

I was baptized as a child and changing churches is not the custom here. we belong to a Church like to a tribe. exception are a minority of Evangelicals but they do not even have sacraments just much too long worship with something like christian pop music and a much too long and too emotional sermon. these kind of preachers when speaking the name of Jesus aspire like they get an orgasm or something. absolutely disgusting for me

@Klesingo: Yes I hear you there. Each church wants to be our Teacher. I get it! I want to learn. But do not put me down for not seeing the light the same as you. I feel I have to accept it on my own. You cannot bring me to 'The Light' HE will take me in when I am ready.

@Carla1951: I don't intend to bring you light. I was just talking about how it's here and how I do see things that's all
