If god is supposed to love us so damn much, why is his need to have us come to him without proof more important to him than the well-being off our eternal soul?

I mean, if you had a human parent who was more concerned that you love them without any real reason than they were with their child's well-being you would consider them to be a pretty awful, selfish parent, yes?

That's not love.

Ok, for some reason I want to call you Andy, whatever, tenants occupie a dwelling, the tenet meaning opinion, principal, doctrine, one held as true by members, of my faith are as follows, my opinion is the bible is the word of God. The bible is the doctrine, and it is held as true by all the members of the church. I assume that was you're question, you weren't very specific.
