God doesn’t hope.
Saw a post I've been meaning to coment on but you know... life! Work, holiday, etc.
The post said God hopes you come to Him.
If people view God that way it's of little surprise many proffesing believers on here seem to struggle with reading their Bible daily and attending a Biblical local church.
God DOES.
Sinful humans like all of us hope. I hope my family come to a saving knowledge of Christ. I hope my living situation improves. I hope more people become faithful members of the church I am a deacon of. God doesn't hope. God DOES and God KNOWS. NO scope for hope with God Himself.
On that note lots of people reading this are American so time for some reading homework by a great pastor of yours- 'God doesn't try' by Jim Osman.
If you are caught in this mindset (in fact even if you aren't) I would also reccomend Jim Osman's YouTube channel very spiritually refreshing.
