Calvinists are decieved by Satan?

I saw a post recently that essentially said that Calvininists that believe in predestination are decieved by Satan. This is absolutely disgusting.

Saying something like this can cause division in the body of Christ and actually says alot about the state of the author's own soul (Romans 16:17).

Yes, I know there are alot of Calvinists that speak of Arminian theology like this too and this also has to stop.

As long as we believe in the core essentials of the Christian faith- The virgin birth, the deity of Christ, the Trinity, the divine inspiration of the Bible, the crucifixion (for our justification by faith alone) and the ressurection we are part of the body of Christ.

I will conclude with two examples of Arminian and Calvinist believers living in harmony.

A friend of a church member who sometimes visits herself, is a Calvinist herself but her local church is a Wesleyan chapel (the good Biblically solid kind not the awful liberal theology type) and her pastor there is an Arminian, he helps her grow spiritually as a pastor should and knows she is a Calvinist and has no issues at all. He would never call her theology "Satanic".

I myself over a weekend breakfast love watching Joe Kirby videos, I feel spiritually refreshed by them and he is an Arminian brother.

One body.

I reject Calvinism.. The belief that God created people who could only ever reject Him and burn in the eternal lake of fire for it is an insult to the character of God..

Good post BFA. I do not share the same doctrinal views as my Charismatic/Pentecostal brethren, but I still have fellowship and friendships with folks who worship there. Satan seeks to divide the body, Christ unites.
@OverTheHill Amen to that brother!

Some on the Charismatic side to go into false teaching i.e. biblically unqualified pastors etc but overall....

That is what a lot of denominations say of other denominations they are being deceived and who is the deceiver! Some are just more out spoken these days.

It is wrong to say another's denomination is satanic unless it actually goes against all that scripture teaches.

There has been a difference in theologies since the third century AD, when the church first separated when those who consider themselves Christians separated themselves from the Jewish teachings.

This has been occurring since that first separation and now we have around 400 denominations within denominations all are from Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants. And thousands of denominations within those 400s even if it's simply because of a name or location.

And some gets angry if you disagree with their views.
