The ER and God's sovereignty

I had a strange experience a couple of weeks back- for the first time ever I was reffered to the ER room.

I have a high pain threshold and like the vast majority I have had stomach aches, trapped wind and even allergic reaction pain in my stomach to certain ice cream before. But this was something else.

The pain started in my stomach and several hours later it had not gone away- it had only intensified and spread.

My wife knew something was up when I was sweating with the pain and couldn't move, she had to move me.

Went to reception, saw the doctor and doctor was concerned and reffered me to the ER.

During the wait there were many characters, noticeably a boisterous family, a girl in her pajamas- hood up and listening to music, a prince Harry lookalike... and an old man vaping and drinking wine... on a makeshift bed in reception, occasionally making his opinion known to reception staff.

With my less than one hour interval sleep for the night (9 hour wait) I got thinking that how God is sovereign over all those people's lives and knows the depths of their beings, yes presumably the vast majority were unsaved. But still.

Maybe this was a "one hour sleep thought" but I keep thinking it in fascination and about them.

Are you now restored?
@FreddieUK Yes thankyou!

But life is still messy- where my wife and I live is still having issues so I'm in my former hometown, she is having to go and see relatives who need help.
