Memento mori.

"I have breakfasted with you and shall sup with my Lord Jesus this night" said Robert Bruce before he went to be in the presence of the Lord with his family.

The best we might do on that day is imitate Jacob and die in worship to the greatness and majesty of God - Memento mori.

Surely worshipping on our future death bed will be felt more intensely and deeply than ever as it immediately precedes joining God and His departed saints.

As Christians when we die and enter into heaven, we will enter into worship with no more distractions ,sin or illness to pull us away from worship, we will be in the presence of God.

As we pass through life and reach the end, let us Christians remember where God's providence has taken us, the people and characters he has enabled us to meet and the journey he has called us to walk.

Yes, heaven will be the only place of pure and perfect worship but why not use our time on earth now to intesify our worship of God and admire His infinite glory? INFINITE! We can only grow in knowledge of His glory. Let that sink in. We can never get enough of learning of His glory, it will never get boring!

On the above note what a sad waste of a life to be proffesing Christ and posting inappropriate content, obsessing other worthless political memes, etc. Surely worship and learning more of the glories of Christ and serving Him would be a much better use of our limited time on earth before eternity comes.

Memento mori.
