God says to follow him is to be yourself. Satisfy your sinful nature and learn along the way.

You're not supposed to struggle and attempt to make yourself holy, you're supposed to let God heal you.

Like in Romans 2:4—it’s His kindness that leads us to repentance.

You’re not alone in this. Jesus was constantly misunderstood by the religious crowd too.

The video is saying it’s okay to have sinned in your past when you didn’t know any better because you weren’t following him. It does not say it’s okay to keep doing so after you follow him. That’s why cleaning up has to happen. To become a Christian can mean working on it, but make no mistake, the goal is to give those things up.
