God says to follow him is to be yourself. Satisfy your sinful nature and learn along the way.

You're not supposed to struggle and attempt to make yourself holy, you're supposed to let God heal you.

Like in Romans 2:4—it’s His kindness that leads us to repentance.

You’re not alone in this. Jesus was constantly misunderstood by the religious crowd too.

Following him doesn’t mean satisfying your sinful nature.
@Reject add more detail?
@Reject you have no idea of what human nature is, all you have is falsified incomple data based on a fictional work

@Reject God doesn't ask you to be holy before he can clean you up.

@mZ8iDC2IR5 He asks you to follow him. Which means you pay more attention to his teachings than none at all.
@Reject learning and then putting away sin

@mZ8iDC2IR5 Learning is what you do when you don’t understand something.

@mZ8iDC2IR5 No, I’m telling you that if you are willingly satisfying your sinful nature, you know exactly what you’re doing.
@mZ8iDC2IR5 No, he's not a troll. He is right.
@LadyGrace that approach is incorrect.

@mZ8iDC2IR5 “If anything needs to get cleaned up in your life the two of you will work that out. He will point that out to you and you will actually agree with him and you’ll clean it up together.”

The video is saying it’s okay to have sinned in your past when you didn’t know any better because you weren’t following him. It does not say it’s okay to keep doing so after you follow him. That’s why cleaning up has to happen. To become a Christian can mean working on it, but make no mistake, the goal is to give those things up.
@Reject already know that.

@mZ8iDC2IR5 Good, then you understand that satisfying your sinful nature when you’re aware of God and his teachings means rejecting him so you shouldn’t be telling people to do that.
@Reject he leads you through your sin. Man doesnt teach man to follow God. God teaches man to follow him. Rely not on your own understanding.

@mZ8iDC2IR5 He leads you if you allow it. He teaches you to follow if you are willing to do so. Man can help each other find the way, even if they must walk the path themselves. However, they will not do so if they choose to sin despite knowing of him as that is relying on their own understanding instead of his. It seems you don’t understand.
