Yoga is a spiritual practice, and Christian’s believe all other religions to be from satan. So it just kinda follows that logic.

@DisappearingTide but…. As a theistic Satanist I can’t follow the logic. I understand it but it makes no actual sense. Christian logic I guess.
DisappearingTide · M
@666Maggotz why can’t you follow the logic?

@DisappearingTide it just doesn’t add up 😞 yoga predates the Abrahamic religions

@666Maggotz and the Abrahamic religions predate the satanic religion but you still follow it. It doesn’t necessarily need to make sense to everyone. There are aspects to yoga that most people in the west won’t understand, and so for a religion to relate it to the antithesis of their own belief because of some of the deeper parts of the practice makes sense to me. It isn’t a matter of saying, this this is this. Rather it’s saying, this thing is not of us, therefore it falls under this umbrella.

@DisappearingTide hmmm Set existed in Egypt, so no. You are thinking of LaVeyan Satanism.
DisappearingTide · M
@666Maggotz both theistic and leveyan satanism are rooted in the concept of satan from the abrahamic religions. Satanism didn’t start with Set in Egypt.

@DisappearingTide in the Satanism I follow it did 🤷♀️

@666Maggotz okay, well I think we just agree to disagree here.
