Kind Atheists are closer to Jesus than bad, mean Christians

Matthew 21:28-32, The Parable of the Two Sons

28 “What do you think? A man had two sons; he went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ 29 He answered, ‘I will not’; but later he changed his mind and went. 30 The fathere went to the second and said the same; and he answered, ‘I go, sir’; but he did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.”

A lot of Christians fight with me because of my beliefs but I absolutely stand by them

Jesus said in Luke 13:24 it will be the many "trying to enter" heaven that he will reject.
That isn't atheists because atheists aren't trying at all.
So he will reject a big chunk of his own followers and the first will be last and the last will be first. Because the first tried and did evil in their positions of power.

@canusernamebemyusername Since he already knows the outcome why not just kill all of the evil ones right away? It would certainly improve the quality of lives of the good ones if they didn't have to deal with the evil people all of their lives.

@canusernamebemyusername The mistake a lot of Christians make in my opinion is focusing so much on whether they are saved or not that they forget to obey Jesus' commandments. Meanwhile you have people who obey Jesus commandments already without knowing Him (out of ignorance, or whatever). But the mere fact that they already do what He asks will make it easier to accept Him when confronted with the truth. And by "confronted with the truth", it doesn't necessarily have to be through another Christian evangelizing to them. God knows how to gather His people. We saw a gentile king in the old testament being credited by God because of his righteousness.
