i accepted christ into my heart confessing of my sin and was forgiven. what are you one of those christians that think gays are ok.

No, but I do not believe simply saying ok I accept god now I am a christian is even nearly what it is that is actually required of someone who is a christian.

@xCoinx: it takes daily faith and worship of christ as well serving him in our daily lives. that is how you become a christian so yes that is what made me a christian which is what you asked.
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

But what of the observances that god expect of man then?

@xCoinx: salvation cannot be achieved by works but many believe it can be. we are to do god's work but without salvation through grace you are not saved.

@xCoinx: right i tell you this i love the sinner hate the sin. i actually have 2 gay friends i meet through my mommy and me swim class. a gay couple who has a little girl with downs syndrome they adopted. they don't judge me because my beliefs. they simply respect that i believe what i believe. my issue is not gays in themselves but ones that act like theyre better than us and they can force us to accept their lifestyle
