CBS is showing Sunday night movies in May. Ended up watching Mission impossible but was wondering if I should because Tom Cruise, who's a Scientologist, stars in it. Thoughts?

I can't understand the deal with scientology. He,Travolta and Leah Remini were involved in this cult. Remini spilled the beans on the horrors of this cult.

Yes, Tom Cruise is the coolest of them all. What's the difference? Stallone claims to be a Christian but he makes violent movies... Mission Impossible isn't promoting anything ungodly, neither is Tom Cruise.

@SW-User i find that questionable too. More likely he is someone who attends Sunday mass with his family( probably Roman Catholics), but that would be the extent of it (for the Italian Stallion).

I think God's love is inclusive, don't you? Watching a movie starring someone with whom you differ about beliefs doesn't mean you have to agree with him.

Watching a movie where someone is murdered doesn't make you a killer.

What influence does his off-camera stupidity have on whether you should watch a movie? It's not like he'll get more money if you watch it on TV.
