I Am Christian

I haven't written a story in a while, but I just wanted to share a few thoughts. As a Christian, sometimes I don't know where I belong or fit in. Recently, I have been growing more in Christ and repenting from past sin. I try not to judge anybody for what they do, because that is not my place. I went out with a small group of ladies from my church and I didn't feel completely comfortable in the conversation. Profanity was being thrown left and right and I am not saying I have no fault or that I haven't sometimes accidently let an inappropriate word slip out, but this was different. I truly want to seek a place where I feel like I belong. It often feels like I'm "too Christian" or "not Christian enough". I'm struggling to find a group of supportive Christian women that I can simply be myself around.

It will be a challenge for as long as you are on this side of the Great Divide. The key to it is to not take offence or imitate. Set your own course and trust Him to guide and guard.
