I Am Christian

I am an Atheist who is sick and tired of christians trying to force their beliefs onto me. They try to drag me and those like me into their delusions by presuming we're really christians just "going through a phase of doubt" and that "god will help you if you just ask him". I'd rather put my faith in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, at least spaghetti is real.

Trying to indoctrinate adults is bad enough but attempting to indoctrinate and frighten children with their beliefs is despicable. If they had a conscience they'd be ashamed of themselves. Instead they try to excuse their actions by claiming they're "doing god's work", just as those who slaughtered elderly women as "witches" were. Any god worth the title could do its own work!

Well said! Completely agree.
I say to anyone of a religious nature....good luck to you. I am pleased that the concept of God works for you. Im glad you get what you need from it. But....please Keep your good thoughts and good deeds to yourself, otherwise it seems like indoctrination or bragging, both of which seem VERY un-Christian to me.
i have respect for you, show the same level of respect to ME and keep it to yourself.
I would NEVER try to persuade you NOT to follow your chosen religious path, so do NOT try and persuade me that my non-religious way is a wrong way. That encapsualates EVERYTHING that i consider wrong with a religjous belief system of any sort.

@MarkA Indoctrination is not "un-christian" it's actually part of the christian belief. They believe they have the right to force their religion onto others because their god told them to. Some even believe in killing those they couldn't or can't convert. See the crusades and witch trials for example.
