I Am Christian

I don't believe creationism can compete with evolution when it comes to logically and consistently explaining the evidence we see.

Using an evolutionary model we would expect to see life on earth going from less complex to more complex as adaptations compound. If we look at the fossil record, this is exactly what we see. Simple invertebrates to fish to reptiles to mammals and so on. And while we do of course see simple organisms coexisting with complex ones ( just look at an earth worm) we never see something like a ichthyosaur in a fossil bed with trilobites. Nowhere. Ever.
From a creation standpoint where the animals were created at around the same time we would expect to see animals at all stages of complexity mixed together. And yet we find these fossil beds with exclusively “simple” organisms.

Does anyone have a better explanation for that evidence from a creation perspective?

no one has a logical explanation for creationism because it isn't based on scientific based evidence. it's irrefutable that evolution is how things evolved. when you say it's a theory it's just the name of the thing. it's not a theory itself because it was extremely extensivly proven. it's a law. a fact. a reality. the same as the sky being blue.
even catholic church admits and supports and even studies evolution.
creationists only exist in ameritardia. no one is that stupid anywhere else on the planet

it doesn't seem. it is.

@unknownpoetx Science doesn't seek to create laws or truths. Science seeks understanding. No researcher would dare say their work establishes universal laws.

it does. now go back to school

@unknownpoetx Sure. Advice from a poet on scientific research. You must be able to charge hefty fees for such wisdom.

It's not advice and you are a stupid moron that judges other people based on a nickname. Im not a poet. I've a master in engineering and another in biology. And that's completely irrelevant because even a 5year old kid understands evolution. Something that you fail

You don't understand how science works. It's not like that. Are you sure you went to school? Do you have any mental disability?

You can't even tell that? No wonder. You just made my point

@unknownpoetx Maybe this helps you understand; however, it doesn't seem to be 'understanding' you seek:

http://undsci.berkeley.edu/teaching/misconceptions.php

Pay special attention to Misconception #13 which states: "If evidence supports a hypothesis, it is upgraded to a theory. If the theory then garners even more support, it may be upgraded to a law."

By the way, being on the topic of fossils, this project to bring the misinformed to a better understanding of science was created by the University of California's Museum of Paleontology.

Enjoy your coming to Jesus moment, poet.

you are really working hard to make yourself look like a retard

@unknownpoetx. Come on. Is that really the best you can do? And you call yourself a wordsmith.
