I think you mean Catholic or Protestant
I say try all options and see what you like... find a nice place that you feel comfortable and agree with the message being delivered.
I would start with Protestant, because I grew up in the Protestant Church and have some issues with the Catholic Church (such as they wouldn't let their California Pastor marry the woman he fell in love with and continue to be a Pastor, but they would let the Sex Abuser of Children continue to be Pastors, even after some were caught multiple, multiple times).
Which, I know this isn't what they believe in, but I FEEL (just my feelings) that it sends the message it's okay for a Paster to have sex with Children, as long as they repent, but it's not okay for a Paster to have sex in a committed and loving marriage.
I know that's probably unfair to the Catholic Church, but I'm sorry, that how I feel about their (hopefully PAST) actions. Hopefully past because hopefully they'll not allowing that type of stuff anymore, but seems like they keep getting caught in mini scandals.

@sstronaut The Catholic priests are probably influenced by a non-Christian religion, which says that priests' good deeds outweigh their bad ones.
