You obviously have the seed of faith within you or you would not be expressing this desire. Do you believe a God who is so great that no word or name could begin to describe, would send you to hell? Did you know that although there are many cultures of faith only one main one tells you all go to hell. What if I told you that the Day of judgment last for a very long time and in that day all found guilty would have a chance to come to know our father and would then live a perfect life from then on out. Does a perfect life scare you?
