I Belive In God

I am trying to be in right place with God. It is difficult though because one the things I have to do is to show mercy to others so God will show mercy to me. How do you show mercy to someone who gets under your skin everyday? And what exactly do I do to show mercy to him?

How do they get under your skin? What do they do?

He is a coworker of mine. He has an arrogant and abrasive personality. He is SUPER LAZY by all means. He almost never cleans up after himself and then the second shift comes in and this other person has to clean up his mess. It takes hours to clean up after him and he even gets angry if someone doesn't do the job for him.

@adhane05: that is challenging! Have you ever tried to see him as an aspect of God and actually get to know him? I mean in a genuine way of learning about him and understanding him? And I would stop cleaning up his messes. If he gets upset, I would just genuinely ask him why that's anyone's responsibility aside from his own.

@Peaceful: The more I learn about him, the worse it gets. There isn't any good qualities that I have learned about him. I'm an optimist too, normally. I don't ever clean up his mess either, but he has went to another department and brought back an older man to "help" him do his dirty work. I prefer not to learn more about him because it makes me sick. 😔

@adhane05: I understand people can be challenging, but have you ever wondered why he is the way he is? With people like this, I picture them as small children that haven't learned how to be. You said mercy, I will use the word compassion.

@Peaceful: Yes, I have wondered why. The good thing he does do is that him and his wife study the Bible. It was a shocking discovery, but maybe he is working on himself too? I haven't seen it, but it would be awesome.

@adhane05: the bible id a great tool as long as people are able to see the allegories and deeper meanings.

@Peaceful: I've been reading it lately. It isn't something I have done before other than read a children's Bible when I was little. It requires so much discipline, but it is well-worth doing.

@adhane05: as long as you can see the deeper truth of it and also have an older translation. Also read up on Constatine and the council of Nicea, as well as King James and why they translated it to suit them.
