So if you were to wear jeans or a trouser-suit one day, that would immediately condemn you as an apostate? :-)
It's been years since I read anything in the Bible, even voluntarily*, but I do not recall it being a fashion-guide; not even for the Middle-Eastern, Late Bronze Age to Romano-Judaic societies for whom it was actually written.
*Last time, it was a Gideon Bible in a hotel room. I had no newspaper or book with me; could not watch television or listen to the radio because I've no telly at home so don't know how to use those remote-controllers... And I read only the archaeology chapter, not the scriptural ones, anyway.
