In a Sermon last week

My sister's Pastor used an interesting metaphor to describe our capacity. He used a deflated balloon and talked about how at its start the balloon is deflated and floppy and un-stretched. The balloon represented us, as Christians, we may begin deflated and at times need to be stretched before we are inflated. He showed inflated balloons next to a deflated balloon. He was pointing out that we must go thru difficult times, be stretched before we can reach our potential/capacity. It was an inspirational sermon. He preaches at Palm Valley Church, Texas, His Word of the Day was capacity. Sermon/ metaphor By Pastor Rick Gannon, Mission/Edinburg, Tx I hope this metaphor inspires you as it did me.

Faith requires being full of hot air? This is all I got out of it.
