I struggle with the fact the Church condemns Israel in any way
The enemy has always been Islam, the false prophet that Jesus and Paul spoke about in the Holy Scriptures, so we have a forewarning. But the Church still tries to make friends with them, not out of any apparent proselytising vigour, out of geopolitical considerations.
There can be no dealing with this enemy who we fought crusade after crusade in order to maintain access to the Holy Place that still we struggle to visit as Christians (except the Holy Places inside the borders of the Israeli homeland).
All who seek now to befriend this enemy who murder our brothers in Nigeria and Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan, are making themselves enemies of the Christ and His Redemption, with no equivocation.
