1. From Nepal- Aarav one night providentially left his house for Kathmandu. He had felt compelled to leave his house.
Men went to his house looking to kill him and he was gone- they called threatening him.
Yet he still returned and preached the Gospel as usual.
Ten years ago he established a Christian school in the community- lives are being changed, the Gospel preached and some of the people that persecuted him... are sending their children to that school!
2. We learn more of brick kilns from Pakistan where impoverised Christians have to go to pay off debts.
We learn Barnabas Aid is providing Christian schools there so children can get an education and escape that way of life.
Asma aged 13 described her suffering- she is forced to work, they (the owners) touch her inappropriately and hit her.
Asma describes her gratitude for the Barnabas Aid funded schools and that she can forget her life while she is there.
3. Psalm 118- With David crying out in distress we can draw parallells when we think of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ.
4. Thank God for Barnabas Aid supplying study supplies to rural Christian ministries in Sri Lanka.
5. Nigeria- Pray for extremist violence against women and our sisters in Christ- in one exaple of many a 16 year old girl had her hand cut off after rejecting a proposal from a militant.
6. Pray for a Iranian couple- Sam and Maryam are having their custody called into question in Turkey (where they fled for assylum) after Turkish authorities questioned the couple's rights as Iran decided Christians should not be considered for adopting non Christian children.
