The world mourns a Christian?
When a person dies proffesing Christ and Google has special tributes when Googling them and all the world says good things about them, that is a huge red flag (Luke 6:26).
Looking into this celebrity's beliefs I found they stood with things the world stood for, had some bizarre spiritual beliefs and cast doubt on heaven.
A Leonard Ravenhill dies and goes to be with the Lord- "Who the hell was he?" A John Macarthur dies and goes to be eith the Lord - plenty of bad things said about Him. When a Christian dies it would be bizzare for the world to praise them (John 15:18-19).
Discernment isn't fun but it really is important to have (1John 4:1). I would highly reccomend the ministries of Jordan Riley and Justin Peters for helping to improve discernment.
I thank God I have a pastor who doesn’t compromise on God's Word but I know when he dies and goes to be with the Lord my town won't be gathered in masses at his funeral, at best there will be a simple obituary and someone reading it thinking "Who the hell was he? Probably some religious nut".
