My beliefs

Obviously. like many people I have my own particular set of beliefs. I was brought up a Christian in an open home and education environment.

There was a church owned school trust and we attended worship twice on Sundays with an element of worship every day. Because of an individual on the education staff and foremost identified himself as a doctor of divinity and wore a dog collar I felt "religion" was being forced upon me. In fact it took me many year to realize that there were many varieties of religion and ultimately learn about them which I only achieved by my own study.

I am a pragmatist but was also very open minded unless somebody aggressively was overly insistent that a particular religion was "best". I think in the end this journey has been very helpful and although I would not claim to be a serious student of all religions still has left me open to all peoples belief as long as other people are not negatively affected.
