To be in this whole thing, you need to belong to a church, that's one of the main reasons why i'm at best a backslider, but more likely an idiot lol
No you don't... You need to read/ listen to the Scriptures and decide to believe in them and trust in the Way God has made for you to be Redeemed.. Now after you become a Christian you can join one of the denominations if you so desire.. But it is not a requisite to sign up to any worldly organization..
If you have read the Gospels you may have read about the criminals who where executed beside Jesus and the interaction one of them had with Jesus..
(Luke 23:39-43) "¶ And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. {40} But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? {41} And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. {42} And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. {43} And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."
The guy never signed up to join a Church.. He was never water baptized.. But Jesus assured him that he would be in paradise with Jesus that very day...
Another tell tale sign I cannot be a Christian is I cannot pray, prayer is spoken of as something that's a gift, I was not given that gift.
Prayer is simply talking to God.. It's a privilege given to every human being that has ever existed.. Anyone can talk to God at any time.. Gods response? well thats up to Him.. His will be done, as it shall be done..

Why should feelings of Guilt or Innocence affect the clarity in ones head??? In fact feelings of guilt often reveals one IS reading the Word of God with Clarity.. It reveals ones conscience agreement with the conviction being put upon them.. It shows that the Holy Spirit is actually working upon the hearer of the Message..

@peterlee Ok Diotrephes not Diotrepges, different spelling.. Ok having brushed up on Diotrephes i don't see how this man relates to our discussion..
As for your other points i do not resist helping others or encouraging others and when i have the honor of meeting another Christian face to face taking part in fellowship with them..

If you are fine in your isolation, then that is your own reward. BUT, even though you can not pray, that does not mean you can't form a relationship with God. One-sided, to begin with, to be sure.
All you have to do is spend some time each day THINKING about God. Imagining him. Thinking about what He has created, and what He has done with our world.

@kodiac Very good point, the whole matter with it for me is solely to do with the specific kind of belief that I am under the opinion expresses it best. If that falls in my mind, there is no other use for me personally for Christianity, and would be enthusiastic about something that feels more authentic. I have to exorcise the demon first, and for me it's a process i'm working through with the scenic route of exploring all that's interesting to give me the right mindsets to approach my issues.
