Moved house today as the rent contract expired- moving in with the in-laws- in Zambian culture this is perfectly normal. It's an extension so the place is currently a building site with no electricity on the top floor- and the odd nail poking up, ready to go through someone's foot!
Everything has happened at once- my mum who just weeks before went to the Banksy museum with me is now strapped into wires on beeping hospital equipment in a bed for open heart surgery.
Oh... and I lost the job I gained- despite passing the two written tests but failing with numbers during a roleplay... sales for me it is I guess!
But God is sovereign over all these things.
BTW... I see why my very tall brother in law wore gloves while we moved stuff....
He still hit his head on the railing though moving a sofa up the stairs with me 🤭
