A prayer request
At the school I went to, teachers got shoved into closets, during the temporary NFL craze in the UK a student threw an American Football at a teacher, he caught it to stop it hitting him... and then another pupil American Football tackled the teacher to the ground 😂. I Still remember how much trouble my friends and I got into for recreating the Manchester fight scene from Green Street at break... real punches included, thank goodness 'Doom Eternal' wasn't around then otherwise things would have gone too far and a 'glory kill' would have got reenacted🤭
So you can imagine how delighted I was to hear that my pastor got to preach the Gospel to a very well behaved set of GCSE students for an RE lesson the school did, though I highly doubt the school will invite him back 🤭
I know my pastor didn't preach a wishy washy 'God is just a cuddly teddy bear jumping up and down, eagerly awaiting you' 🥹 type message. He gave thrm the Gospel and clearly explained God's wrath, consequences of sin, etc.
So please pray for the pupils that my pastor preached too, that they will become convicted and come to Christ.
Praise Point
I want to praise God, unemployment has ended and for once in my life I actually work for a company that cares about it's employees.
Pray I will use this opportunity and work hard for God's glory. There is plenty of overtime too so I can work off debt.
All praise to God alone!
