Wednesday Bible Study Notes 08/04/26
So here I am at 'spoons before church to treat myself as the wife is away and I must admit I ordered the American Breakfast. What a time to catch up on notes I didn't do last week.
. Are you good enough to go to heaven? That question will go straight to the heart. None of us are- we need a Saviour.
. Take heart- many unbelievers are aware of their sinfulness but do not know of the Saviour.
. Self righteousness is a very dangerous sin, it leads people to think they are "good enough" to go to heaven without Christ.
. We should all be rejoicing that Christ recieves sinners like us.
. Unbelievably, the Pharisees were whinging about God's grace.
. We are lost from the womb, we are by nature God's enemies.
. God goes high and low to save sinners like ourselves.
. When your team won the cup the angels didn't give a hoot. When Trump became president the angels didn't give a hoot. When did the angels rejoice? When a humble sinner achknowledged their sin and came to Christ, knowing nobody else can save them from hell.
