Truth Ain't Blasphemy

Last Friday my husbands best friend and I talked about this, his problem with the church was how they use the tithes for themselves and not for the poor and hungry... He asked me for a bible, luckily I had just bought a brand new bible last fall, it had everything from a concordance to Jesus' words as red letters, there was a summery at the bottom of each page explaining the scriptures, and maps and so on! The only problem was the words were in small print, which hurt my eyes! He said he didn't mind that, he was just excited to have his first bible!! I was blessed to have helped him and pointed out to him to start with the book of the Gospel of John, then to read Romans and then to read Psalms as starters for a new beginner...They usually say start in the New Testament, then read the Old for the stories, but to read the New because we are already under the Grace of Christ! He is a brand new believer he says there is so much evil in this world that there has to be something opposite and good! That being God! I am a woman so I am not to Lord over him and teach him, but I can influence him and tell him my testimony and point him in the right direction. I'm going to show him this song! I liked it!!!
