Based on Matthew 13:44-46.
. What is the treasure you are seeking?
. Treasure= Christ Field= Gospel Man= True Christian believer
. The whole OT points to Christ!
. Onlookers just notice the field (Gospel) but don't see the treasure (Christ).
. To die in Christ is gain, if you are in Christ, your life hasn't even begun, an eternity awaits!
. Always remember Christ's presence is everywhere!
. We come to Christ by His terms, not ours!
. " They who would have saving benefit by Christ, must be willing to part with all, that they may make it sure to themselves; must count every thing but loss, that they may win Christ, and be found in Him." Matthew Henry
. People that simply say things like "I admire Christ" etc but aren't Christians are people that smile at a life jacket when a plane is crashing and simply say "That's a nice life jacket" without putting it on!
. "We may buy gold too dearly, but we cannot purchase Christ too dearly." Thomas Watson
