This morning is unsettling. I'm not sure how you feel, but in a world in which regime change is back on the menu it's far from being a stabilized civilization.
Returning to my faithful guide to life I just read John 3:16-17 again. It's indeed fitting that one should read bible passages like that one this time of year.
It summarizes the Christian gospel, stating that God loved the world so deeply that He sent His Son, Jesus, not to condemn it, but to offer salvation and eternal life to everyone who believes.
Moreover, it highlights God's sacrificial love, the necessity of faith, and the mission of rescue over judgement. Let those guiding words sink in now.
