. What do you focus on- worldly things like sport, politics, etc? Meditate on your death- there is a short time between the cradle and the grave, your life is but a vapour.
. Has your coffin been manufactured? The morticians observing your body been born? He decides when you are born and He decides when you die, that last breath you took was from Him.
. Hold everything loose- everything in this life is temporary except your relationship with God.
. Felix trembled and did not even demons tremble before Christ "Have You come to torment us before the time?" Do you?
. If you have not accepted Christ as your Saviour on judgement day, you WILL go to hell. God's sentence is not an earthly one, no appeals here!
. "Oh, think what horror and despair will possess the wicked, when they see themselves engulfed in misery, and their
condition hopeless, helpless, endless! They are in a fiery prison—and there is no possibility of getting out!" Thomas Watson
. No preacher can do the horrors of hell justice. Hot flames, constant screams of the damned, no sleep, 100 million years- your torment won't have even begun and you will not get used to the pain or lack of sleep- it will only grow worse. The largest number of years you can think beyond 100 million- your torment hasn't even begun!
. Simple mental ascent will not save you. Demons believe Christ died for people's sins and look at their state! Believe ON Christ.
. Every glorious thing on earth is just a shadow of things to come in the new earth.
. Christians with weak faith- be encouraged and grow. You are not trusting in the measurement of your faith, but the Object of your faith!
